Films: Devil Fish (1984)
Alias: None
Type: Man-Made
Location: Ocean/Swamp
Height/Weight: That of submarine.
Affiliation: Neutral
Summary: What better way to have total control over the seas than to combine two of the deadliest predators it has ever seen. Raw intellect (and arms) and brute force have given rise to the Sea Killer, and we're all paying for it.
History: Somewhere near Florida, Project Sea Killer is on the loose. It is a beast borne from a mixture of octopus DNA and that of the prehistoric Dunkleosteus. The government tried to contain it, but they just couldn't, and now it's chomping on tourists AND growing at an accelerated rate.
Notable Kills: Nothing special.
Final Fate: After the beast is found in the Everglades, it is torched to nothing by authorities.
Powers/Abilities: None
Weakness: Fire
Scariness Factor: 4.5-Just on paper, combining a prehistoric super-predator and an octopus sounds like the stuff that drove ancient sailors mad. In execution, it's just as frightening. Just look at those damn teeth! A shame we rarely see it.
Trivia: -This film was also known as "Devouring Waves", "Monster Shark", and "Monster from the Red Ocean".
-Dunkleosteus (Dunkle's bone) was an armored fish from the late Devonian Period. It was estimated to be about the size of a bus, and had bony plates for teeth meant to bite even early sharks in half. Needless to say, if the introduction of the first lower jaw had a poster child, it would be this demonic guppy.
